It was a wee bit rainy today en Paris but that didn't stop the French Connection. After finding out that both the Louvre and the Centre Pompidou are closed on Tuesdays, we decided to face the rain and wander around Ile de la Cite and the Latin Quarter. After eating lunch in front of Notre Dame, Baxter couldn't resist having his picture taken!

We walked around the interior of the cathedral and stood in awe at everything around us. One could spend hours walking around inside and out looking at the incredible carvings and gorgeous stained glass. It is amazing just how much detail goes into making each one different than the next. A definite must see if you are ever in Paris!

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the Latin Quarter and stumbled up the Pantheon as well as the fountain at St. Michel. Walking along the Boulevard St. Michel made us feel like we were in school again, rubbing shoulders with the students going to the Sorbonne and grabbing quick cups of coffee and the many Starbucks’ we saw along the way! If only it was Tim Hortons!
