A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!

Salut!

Well, the hunt for the ever elusive Christmas lights has come to a close and the results are simply amazing! Read on to learn about the how the events unfolded:

We began the day with a trip down to the BHV near Hotel de Ville. It's basically like The Bay or Sears x10. It's absolutely massive and it was on the sixth floor that we finally found the Christmas wonderland we were in search of! After stocking up on lumiere de Noel we stopped outside, where Nat stumbled upon the place where she will one day get married: Under a rainbow with a Unicorn and a dragon, it's going to be fierce!

We then headed into Le Marais (4th arrondissement), to check out what was happening and were finally able to get some coffee to go at the local Columbus Cafe which is basically like a French Starbucks. I was so excited to actually be able to walk around with my coffee again that I couldn't quite contain myself (I may or may not have peed myself a little!)
After enjoying a leisurely evening stroll we headed back home to deck our flat out with Christmas cheer. We started with the lights and this is what went down:

Nat worked out her stomach muscles by standing on her tiptoes and took her life into her own hands trying to put lights up while balance precariously on our table!

Baxter and I just watched and got all tangled up!

We then had another bright idea:

CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!

We are so excited about our amazing Christmas tree made entirely of recycled goods! Newspaper for the tree and branches, a beer case as a base, bubble wrap garland, and soon it will be decorated with egg carton ornaments and a paper plate star! Here's what went down during the process of creating our miracle!

All in all, I'd say we had a pretty great time and we couldn't resist posing by our new tree for a few shots!
Au revoir, until next time!
